FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How does the collective work?
Raised funds will be used to provide UL student-athletes opportunities to provide deliverables. Contracts will be incorporated to ensure responsibilities are met and compensation paid to the student-athlete.
  • Is Krewe Allons a charitable organization?
No. In an effort to avoid implications with the IRS, Krewe Allons is established as a LLC and not a 501-c3. Some investments may qualify as a tax benefit for the investor which can best be determined by a personal accountant.
  • What is the purpose of the Krewe Allons Collective?
Krewe Allons exists to enhance the experience of Ragin' Cajuns student-athletes and provide experiences for them to connect with our engaging and enthusiastic fanbase. We help student-athletes monetize their Name, Image and Likeness through experiences and connections in the community. These experiences will connect our student-athletes to your families and business.
  • What happens to the contract should a student-athlete transfer?
Contracts with student-athletes are on a per event basis. Compensation is provided after the agreed upon deliverable is fulfilled. Contracts are for a finite period of time.
  • Are all NIL agreements the same for all student-athletes?
No. Each agreement is made specifically with the student-athlete and agreed upon before a deliverable or compensation occurs.
  • Is the Krewe Allons an entity of Louisiana Athletics?
No. NCAA rules prohibit universities from owning and/or running collectives.
